PositivePsyche, in concert with DreamBig and Cherry Hill Eagles Foundation have teamed with the University of Maryland’s TerpTax nonprofit in the Spring and Summer of 2023 to deliver free tax preparation services to Cherry Hill residents in Baltimore, MD. Our partnership continues in 2024!
Cherry Hill is a working class neighborhood in South Baltimore. Our role is to help residents collect their Earned Income & Child Tax Credits. Eligible residents can earn between $5K-$13K per household in a single year and could be entitled to previous year payments. Cherry Hill Eagles is administering the program and conducting the outreach with the community for this critical service and resource. Additionally, we help these same residents open and maintain bank accounts once they receive their tax refunds.
PositivePsyche employs individuals in the community to fulfill this outreach need.
